Impressions honored by State of Tennessee

We proudly want to congratulate our member Sam Gooden of The Impressions for ALL of their acheivements!

Most recently The State of Tennessee honored them with a Music Pathways marker at the Bessie Smith Cultural Center.  Tennessee Vacation launched Tennessee Music Pathways, an online planning guide that connects visitors to the state’s rich musical heritage. This first marker in Chattanooga will honor The Impressions and is located in front of the Bessie Smith Cultural Center On December 3rd, 2019 it was unveiled and celebrated with community members, elected officials, and members of the Impressions and their families.
